From Prototype to Personality: Lila’s Big Glow-Up

When we first launched Lila’s site, the goal was simple: share what we were building as our product evolved, so did our message.

We realized our old pages were doing what a lot of early-stage startups do — talking about features before feelings.

So, we stepped back and asked:

“What do we want someone to feel the moment they land here?”

Confidence. Curiosity. Trust.

We wanted our site to feel like Lila herself — welcoming, warm, and clear.

  • Voice: More conversational, less technical.

  • Structure: Guiding users through why Lila exists before what she does.

  • Visuals: Real imagery and tone that reflects identity, not just interface.

  • Clarity: Adding microcopy and feedback loops to show progress (and personhood).

The new design isn’t just a facelift — it’s a reflection of how far Lila has come. From a product demo to a real personality — she now feels alive, expressive, and intentional.

We’ll keep evolving her look as we learn more from our users. But for now? She feels more like herself. 💜
